The Casey Greene Quintet is based in Shrewsbury and frequently performs in venues in Shropshire, Staffordshire, Herefordshire, Birmingham , Manchester , Liverpool, West Midlands and Wales .

Casey Greene - Band Leader - Saxophones and Flute.

Having performed throughout the world with the likes of Ray Charles and Australian Jazz virtuoso, James Morrison, Casey has perfected his art through the mediums of improvised jazz, classical ensembles, TV and radio appearances and world music groups. He can be seen performing his own compositions across the UK impressing audiences with his scope and versatility.

 

Laura Collins - Vocalist.

A rising star on the British Jazz scene who studied her craft with singers such as Anita Wardell and Norma Winstone whilst on the prestigious Guildhall Jazz course, Laura has recently performed at the National Theatre and The Wales Millenium Centre. www.lauracollins.co.uk/.

 

Ben Markland - Bass.

One of the UK 's most versatile Double Bass players, Ben is also an imaginative Jazz Composer and has worked with artists ranging from Alice Cooper to The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

 

Tom Greenhalf - Piano.

Heavily influenced by Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea, Tom has recently graduated from The Birmingham Conservatoire and has already played alongside Tim Garland and Bobby Privet.

 

Ben Thomas - Trumpet / Flugelhorn.

Part of the trio, 'Mosaic' described by Humphrey Lyttleton as 'a versatile and creative threesome', Ben has performed with a diverse range of contemporary artists from the world of Jazz, Pop and Classical Music including Jim Mullen, Annie Whitehead and Thad Kelly.

 

Miles Levin - Drums.

Having worked with many established musicians including Soweto Kinch and Jean Toussaint, Miles has also appeared at The Cheltenham International Jazz Festival, the 606 Club and Glastonbury with Steve Tromans.
