All five musicians work professionally within the music industry in wedding, cover and party bands,  and also are session musicians. Between them, they have an enormous amount of experience having played all over the north west and most of the UK  at various highly acclaimed venues, bars, clubs and hotels. 

As well as being highly active within the performance sector of the music industry, Catbirds are all musically educated and  two of its members also work as music tutors.

With such a versatile and diverse range of songs, Catbirds are able to adapt to any situation and their vast knowledge, talent and experience provides everyone with an energetic and enjoyable performance. Whether you decide to sit back and enjoy the quality of the music, or jump up and down all night Catbirds will ensure you the satisfaction of having an enjoyable, and  memorable experience.

When Catbirds  formed, it was their aim not to be just another covers band by playing the same songs that most other band plays. This is evident by some of the selected songs shown below, such as The  Police and Muse. With their combined talents, they are able to play almost anything. However, it is not always the most technically demanding songs that are attractive to the audience.

Playing anything from the 60’s onwards, Catbirds  provide their clients with a new experience of seeing a covers  band  playing certain songs that are not often played by other bands, but are as equally well known. Examples include ‘You cant do that  by the Beatles, and ‘Stay with Me ’ by Faces, Catbirds are not prepared to put a song into their set list just as fillers . Each song is decided upon with precision and great consideration. This makes hiring Catbirds  a unique experience compared with many other bands.
