biography

I have been in the music industry for ten years now, playing piano and singing, or playing flute/sax and singing with my trio.

 

I have 12 years experience in the music industry playing piano and singing for a living along with playing saxophone/flute for various other bands. I am classically trained on piano and flute but my degree is in jazz.
I play solo piano as well as piano/vocal contemporary style.

I play flute with a guitarist. Our style ranges from classical and traditional wedding music right through to popular songs with vocals.

My trio consists of myself singing and playing flute/sax alongside and pianist/vocalist and a bassist/vocalist. We play jazz and popular music. If something more upbeat is needed we can come out with a drummer as a quartet.

I also have 7-piece function band, consisting of a 3-piece brass section and male/female vocals. We play a wide range of songs from Lady Marmalade, Valerie, Ain't No Mountain High Enough, Mercy, Respect and American Boy.

I also play saxophone with a 16-piece big band
