Chris started playing drums at the age of 8, and started being an entertainer at the age of 11, playing drums and singing around the cabaret clubs of the Northwest, as part of a duo with his dad. At 16 he joined an established original rock band from Liverpool, as a drummer/ backing vocalist, and went on to support rock bands such as The Wildhearts, Dumpys rusty nuts e.t.c, which also led to working with members of China Crisis, Black, and Oceanic, as well as sessioning for bands who had seen him on the rock circuit. He also had a release on Ebony records, as well as showcasing for Chrysalis records.

Chris has been a resident drummer in the clubs, backing the artist, on a Saturday and Sunday night, as well as being freelance. He also plays keyboards and synthesizers, as you can hear from his demo tracks.

Chris has been in a Police and Pink Floyd tribute band, as well as a function band, as drummer and backing vocalist, and sessioned for a 70’s glam tribute band.

He is also part of a duo called Purple Phoenix with his sister, and they have enjoyed singing together on the club circuit for 8 years. They also perform a Carpenters tribute show called Yesterday Once More. Please select the current bands and projects picture album.

Fully self-contained, with a quality P.A. system and light show, Chris has Public Liability Insurance, his own transport and is punctual and reliable.

Chris’s 80’s tribute show is extremely visual and incorporates songs from The Buggles, Paul Young, Frankie goes to Hollywood, Bon Jovi, Harold Faltimire, Rem, Duran Duran, The Thompson Twins, Billy Idol, Cutting Crew , Howard Jones, Deacon Blue, The Eurythmics, Starship, Kristy MacColl, It Bites, Gloria Estefan, U2, Mr Mister, The Police, Europe, Prince, Adam and the ants, Chris Isaak, Gary Numan, Art of Noise, Nick Kershaw, and many more.
