Biography

Heart and Soul and having being a successful band, based in Barrow-in-Furness for 3 years.  We are a 4 piece outfit, consisting of Leah Simone (Lead Vocals), Alan Simpson (Guitar and Backing vocals), Dbasser (Bass Guitar and Backing vocals) and Darren Snow (Drums).

The band has built much success on its reputation as a band that quickly gets FEET TAPPING and bodies on the DANCEFLOOR, whether the band is playing at your wedding, party or your pub or club. 

Heart and Soul cover all the great soul classics by Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse, Arthur Conley, Betty Everett, Duffy, Dusty Springfield, Fontella Bass, Jackie Wilson, Lynda Lyndell, Supremes, Temptations, Velvelettes and Wilson Pickett to name a few.  Check out our music list to see the full complement.

Heart and Soul, were the opening act at our festival style wedding WedStock, the guys really pulled out all the stops to produce a great sounding set. The perfect party band, appealing to all our guests with their broad musical taste, these guys really know how to get a party started! We were particularly thrilled when they played Chuck Berry's 'You Never Can Tell' so that we could do the 'Pulp Fiction Dance' as our first dance together, it went down a STORM!!
