Helter Skelter truly rock!  We took a chance on booking them for our wedding as we’d not heard them live before but if ever a punt paid off, this one did!  We would recommend Helter Skelter to anyone.  We had a fantastic night.  Our guests (ages ranging from 8 to 80) started partying at the first song and didn’t want to stop at the end of the night.  Numerous guests said they were the best wedding band they’d ever heard.  We are currently trying to think of another opportunity to book Helter Skelter!  If you are having a wedding in the North then the best tip we can give you is BOOK THIS BAND.  Brilliant!

Great performers as well as good musicians. You caught the atmosphere right and played to it brilliantly.  We loved the choice of music, the performance and the mood created - everyone commented positively.

NHS National Conference, International Convention Centre, Birmingham, April 27^th, 2010

Having watched and listened to Helter Skelter in a number of local West Yorkshire based venues I was convinced that they had the confidence and the musical ability to entertain a crowd of 500 at the International Conference Centre in Birmingham. On Tuesday the 27th April 2010, they did just that and created a night that many of us will remember for a long time to come.

Well what can I say, not often I’m stuck for words.  We all had a fantastic night from start to finish - the band was fabulous as was the DJ. I have never seen the crowd get up to the dance floor so soon into the night.

What a night and what a wedding, the boys performed at my wedding this month and they blew the roof off.  Excellent – everyone was dancing – I also have the photos to prove it! Had a superb time, the boys had added pressure as I entered a competition called ‘Four Weddings’, but like I say they blew the roof off!!!!

What can we say? They were amazing, every one of our 114 guests have said so, so it must be true!  I cannot recommend this band enough; they truly delivered an amazing show that had everyone crying for more. A truly talented set of professionals who know how to read a crowd and really get people involved. It felt like our own personal concert with all our favorite artists the only problem you will have is deciding what to pick so trust me, leave it up to Graeme and the team, you won’t be sorry!

I have good credentials to judge live bands being one of the organisers for Saltaire Festival

(now 7 years old) and part of the team that selects between 14 and 20 bands for our Piazza Stage events each year. Helter Skelter Rocks are simply far and away the best band we have heard in years. Their passion for a terrific sound, their musicality and great, great numbers deserves a wider audience. They lit up our event, had everyone dancing and made our night very special!

There is no word in existence which deserves to describe Helter Skelter’s genuine ability to create the most fantastic party atmosphere! Graeme, Simon, Carl and Rob literally had everyone dancing all night to their excellent versions of songs from the 60s to fit in with our 60s themed party.

 

From day one Graeme did everything to make sure the night would run smoothly in terms of musical arrangement and Graeme’s wife, Kirsti was fantastic at taking photographs all night, capturing the mood Helter Skelter produced so easily in a professional manner.

 

What really made the night for Richard’s family and myself though was the smile on Richard’s face every time a new song started as the band were able to sound exactly like the original artiste from this era (if not better!).

 

The next morning everyone from 10 year olds to 60+ was talking about Helter Skelter and how they made the evening one to remember! One 10 year old even wants to learn to play the guitar now!

 

Individually each band member was absolutely excellent and the on stage chemistry between the four just proved how much Graeme, Simon, Carl and Rob love what they do!

 

I do not think this testimonial is able to reflect how good Helter Skelter are – just trust me, there is no band quite like them – get them booked!!!

We booked Helter Skelter 3 days before our wedding and to be honest we were not totally sure what to expect, although from the photos on the website and listening to a few soundtracks we knew they would be good, but actually they were out of this world.

 

Professionalism shone through and their proactivity in contacting the hotel before my big day to go through last minute detail to save me time was great. We had an absolutely brilliant evening reception. Everyone was having a great time, my new husband has actually injured his knee in some way with all his dancing (I have pictures to prove it!) He’s hobbling now!!!

 

The words I would use to describe Helter Skelter – phenomenal, brilliant, awesome, exceeded expectations – fantastic band, caters for customers needs, great set of guys. Not forgetting the crew who helped in all areas. Thanks again.

If I remember correctly just before you guys left you said that Kirsti had taken some great shots . . . could I be really cheeky and ask for a copy of them? Our photographer left after our first dance and so we would love to have some shots of all the crazy dancing that was taking place and particularly my favourite bit where I sang with you the chorus of Mustang Sally - brilliant!!!

Jill Gada, 50th Birthday Party – Manchester, May 2008

You and the guys were just fantastic on Saturday.  Thanks so much for not only raising my street cred in the locality to dizzy heights but also for ensuring that my 50th was as far removed from being an old farts party as you can possibly get, which is exactly what I wanted to achieve.

As a budding guitarist my son was absolutely mesmerised by the music, I have never seen my husband air guitaring whilst hopping on one leg before and had no idea that my sister has backing singer potential!! There were quite a few pictures taken, when I get them I email you the decent ones of the band in action.

 

You deserve lots of success and have certainly got a new fan base in Manchester now - everyone without exception thought you were just brilliant!  I'll keep an eye on the gig list on your website and we'll come and see you if you ever play over this way.
