biography

JIN is a three-piece band based in Mid Cheshire formed in 2006 although a relatively new band; the members have several combined years of experience behind them.

 

JIN is a band that caters for any event or function, with solid musicianship, vocal ability and dynamic stage presence.

 

JIN play music from the 60’s through to the present day, also if required can play solely 60’s music. If requested JIN can provide music for the whole evening i.e. background music, dance or disco music plus lights.

 

Over the years JIN have supported well known 60’s legends such as, Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich, Hermans Hermits, Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders and Mike Sweeny at the Winsford Civic Hall, as well as playing the North West club scene.

 

Personnel consists of:

 

John              Lead and rhythm guitar/ backing and lead vocals

 

Iain                 Lead and backing vocals, Tambourine

 

Norman         Rhythm and acoustic guitar/synthesizer/mandolin/backing vocals  

 

 

It is our aim as JIN to ensure that everybody has a good time, whether they want to get up on their feet and dance the night away or just sit back and enjoy the music.
