Luci is a highly experienced soprano soloist, in both the operatic and oratorio style.

She studied singing for three years with Janet Price at the Royal Academy of Music, and has since been offered a place on the MMus Performance course at Trinity College of Music and Drama. She has recently gained the Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music in Singing Performance with distinction. She has performed at major London venues including St James’s Piccadilly, St Paul ’s Covent Garden and the Royal Albert Hall, and has given concerts in Switzerland , Austria , Greece , France , Italy and the USA .

 

Luci’s first wedding gig was at age 13 when she sang Ave Maria at her local church, and there’s been no looking back since: “Weddings are my favourite", she says. "Everyone is so appreciative of your performance, because you know the music meant so much to them in the context of that moment. I must have sung at hundreds of weddings by now, but I never lose the magic feeling of knowing I’m singing a song that is special for that particular couple”.

 

She has a wide repertoire of wedding favourites, whether in the sacred tradition, a well-known operatic aria, or something more modern. Luci is of course always open to suggestions from the couple themselves, no matter how obscure! As a jazz piano-vocalist, Luci also has experience in providing background music at receptions and can be hired as singer and pianist rolled into one.
