Maria found fame on Britain’s biggest talent show, the X Factor, which stars Simon Cowell. She was one of the favourites to win under mentor Sharon Osbourne in 2005. Following a controversial exit from the show Maria made national headlines on the front pages of many newspapers.

Maria went on to sign to Sony BMG and achieved a top 20 single, album and lingerie deal with Bravissimo.

 

More recently Maria has just finished a successful year playing the female lead singer

in the hit West End Musical Thriller Live.

 

Maria is currently finishing her second album and presenting a TV show on Sky.
