BIOGRAPHY

Marika has performed with established companies such as Kentish Opera, Opera on the Run, Operatique, London Operaworks & City Opera, which has led her to sing at prestigious venues such as The Queen Elizabeth Hall, The Barbican Centre, St Albans Cathedral, Southwark Cathedral, Birmingham Symphony Hall. Corporate clients include Harrods, The Emirates Stadium, The Austrian Embassy, The National Maritime Museum, Leeds Castle, Dali Universe County Hall, The Royal Automobile Club, The Heritage Motor Centre, The Ritz Hotel, The Sheraton Park Lane Hotel, Vinopolis Wine Centre, Mortons, Home House, Dartmouth House and The Lansdowne Club. Marika's varied performance packages has seen her participate in the Brighton, Howden, Camden & Edinburgh Festivals (UK), The Langen Festival (Germany) and as far as The Pearl Qatar (Middle East).

Marika is also an experienced session singer, having recorded material at the world reknowned Abbey Road Studios and Air Studios, Marika regularly records with the Purcell Singers, featuring in films such as: Madagascar 2, King Kong, War of the Worlds, The Da Vinci Code, Spider-man 3, The Fantastic Four, The Island , Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire & also features on the original west-end cast recording of Cameron Macintosh's production, Mary Poppins and can be heard on the trailer for the westend production of Flashdance the Musical. Amongst her recording credits are clients such as XBox, BBC, The English National Opera and Unilever commericals.

Marika is also a keen supporter of various charities and performs regularly for Charity Events with organisations such as Marie Curie Cancer Care, UK Hospices, Macmillan Cancer Care, Breast Cancer Awareness and The Railway Children.

Her outgoing personality and quick sense of humour, makes what may otherwise appear foreign and elitist, accessible to all.
