The AT Band was formed in 1997 and is lead by Musician and Director Aidan Townend.

They stormed the live music scene with an exciting repertoire ranging from Jazz classics through to popular hits. Soon after establishing themselves, the band introduced Charlotte Day on vocals.

In recent years Ron Henshall on sax and flute, and Andy Blakeley on drums, have completed the line-up.

Each member of The AT Band has a wealth of experience in both live and studio performance. They have all performed with a variety of names in the music industry and have the ability to perform in many different styles.

In 1998 the band’s demo received the attention of the Entertainment Manager at Manchester ’s Trafford Centre, one of the largest and most prestigious Shopping Centres in Europe . They soon acquired a regular slot and more than a decade later, they continue to perform there on a weekly basis.

Over the years, The band have performed at  many prestigious venues including The Villa Marina Theatre in Douglas, Harrogate International Centre, Southport Floral Hall, and Lyme Park in Cheshire to name a few. 

On behalf of the band, Aidan has also successfully promoted large scale events since 2005 at various venues throughout the UK . There are several shows available including the highly acclaimed 'Yesterday Once More' which celebrates the music of The Carpenters, A 'Classic Rock' show, and 'Music of The Beatles', all of which feature some of the North Wests finest guest musicians and vocalists performing with The A T Band.

The band is available for all kinds of private and corporate events, whether it be the standard four-piece or a full orchestra complete with string section. For more intimate venues, Duos or Trios can also be arranged.
