Made up of four experienced, professional musicians and entertainers The Romantiques is a 4-piece function band fronted by their female singer/bass player. Playing the music you love to a high standard, all wrapped up in a slick, exiting show. Avoiding the usual tongue-in-cheek approach to the 80’s, The Romantiques give you a bit of pop, rock, indie, electro, ska and disco. With songs by David Bowie, The Police, The Smiths, The Cure, Kate Bush, Blondie, Grace Jones, The Eurythmics, Soft Cell, Spandau Ballet, Kim Wilde, Billy Idol, The Beat, The Specials etc,

 

All the music is performed live (so no backing tracks!) with guitar, keyboards, bass and drums and three vocals for harmonies The Romantiques are a vibrant, energetic, stylish band who know how to entertain and get the crowd going.

 

The Romantiques have entertained at all types of occasions from private functions and weddings to corporate events for the likes of RBS and The Evening Standard and have played on the same bill as Kim Wilde, The Bangles, Boy George, 10cc, Bjorn again and The Bootleg Beatles amongst others at 80’s Revival Festivals.
